Things to Do
Area Activities include canoeing and kayaking with 5 concessionaires
within 5 miles of Elk Meadow Cabin.  In addition to water activities there is
horseback riding, extensive network of hiking trails some with  waterfalls,
spelunking, scenic drives (automobiles or motorcycles),  mountain biking,
and rock climbing.
Area Entertainment includes the historic Victorian Spa City of Eureka
Springs within just over an hour’s drive.  There is an abundance of local
craft and antique shops in the area.  For fun and entertainment both
Branson and Silver Dollar City are just over an hour away.  For shopping,
dining, and nearby entertainment Harrison is only 15 miles away.  Also the
nearby town of Jasper is only minutes away with a grocery store, post
office and restaurants.  The cabin is in a dry county so BYOB.
